With a background in interiors, furniture designer Cristina Guerrero Velez’s collaboration with a team of crafts people in Ecuador inspired her to explore a range of overlooked crafts, blending the artisan’s techniques within contemporary designs. Sustainability of materials, community and practice is at the heart of Guerrero Velez’s work. Excited by the prospects and opportunities of distributed production, she is actively seeking distribution and retail partners worldwide.
