The merger of the oldest technology of glass dying, known as early as in the 13th century in the Venetian Murano glass works, with the most modern, innovative technology of fusing of many layers of glass in very high temperatures gave rise to these incredible 3D effects.
Since many years, Baranska Design Studio has been looking for untypical ways of glass applications – as lighting elements, furniture, or walls of private houses and hotels. This time, application of a very old and difficult technology of glass dying by means of metal oxides which react inside the glass sheet, and thanks to the multiple light refraction in a result of light passing through many fused glass layers creates an uncanny 3D effect. The eye experiencing an optical illusion discovers an unusual light, colour and texture reflections in very thick glass sheets. Due to the employment of this technology, the manufacturer is able to grant 20-year guarantee for colour keeping. Glass sheets are used as tops, tables, lighting or glass walls, and they contribute to a unique, prestigious and elegant character of every interior.
Examples of such glass objects will be presented at the ICFF in New York, on the Baranska Design Studio booth No. 3117.
